Do What YOU Do Best ... Let the Geek Goddess Do the Rest!
More and more often I am getting clients asking me "do you offer monthly maintenance services?"
Why am I hearing this so often? Well, for one thing, keeping your WordPress site updated and secure is tedious, boring work. It's work with little to no return on the time it takes to do it. My clients understand the value of their time or the time of their team members - time that could be better spent doing something that generates revenue.
Does that mean updating and securing your website isn't important? Of course not. Having your website get hacked or crash because of a hosting company (or a staff member) that did updates or did NOT do updates can take down your online business or marketing efforts and cost you thousands of dollars in lost revenue and potential cost to resurrect your website.
So what's the answer?
Ease your mind and get back to what you do best by leaving the updates up to me!
How does this benefit you?
- Plugins and WordPress core files will be kept up to date
- Vulnerable plugins will be removed/replaced to protect your site from hacking
- WordPress "site health" best practices will be done
- Updates will be done when it is safe to do so - keeping your site from breaking unexpectedly
- You and/or your team can get back to running your business and bringing in revenue!
What does it cost? You'll receive regular WordPress core and plugin updates* for a $100/month per site subscription. If you opt to pay 6 months in advance, the fee drops to $500 for 6 months - you get one month FREE.

Does this include content updates? Sorry, no. This covers only regular WordPress plugin/core updates to keep your site up-to-date and running as smoothly (and hack-free) as possible.
Does this mean you'll never get hacked while being maintained? No. Wordpress is an open source project, meaning their code is "out there" for anyone (including hackers) to see and look for vulnerabilities. On top of WordPress core, there are also thousands of free (or non-free) plugins that integrate into WordPress and can also potentially be sectors for hacking. Other opportunities can come from your database software, server software, or the fact you may be hosting multiple sites on a single server. What you WILL get is my best effort to keep your site updated and monitor your plugins for vulnerabilities so things can be addressed in a best effort to minimize the opportunity for hacking.
If your site is full of "spaghetti code" right now and you have dozens of plugin updates that need to be done, and it's running as fast as molasses, will I clean all that up as part of the maintenance? No. I will do an audit the first time I log in and let you know if you will need a cleanup first. If you elect to have me clean up your site to get it ready for maintenance, I can do so at my regular rate. Please contact me first before purchasing if you are unsure whether your site is ready for maintenance.
Will this speed up my website? Perhaps. Some issues are caused by too many plugins, the wrong plugins, or incorrect configuration of plugins or your wp-config.php file. I can address some of these issues for you and fix them, but a major problem with speed is often related to hosting. Either hosting with a poor provider or having too many of your own sites on a dedicated server or hosting plan. I can recommend a move to better hosting or a better configuration, but if you opt not to do that, you may see little change.
Does this cover multiple sites? No. The maintenance fee is per WordPress website.
Is this a one-time fee? No. These are subscriptions and will auto-renew until such a time as you contact me to cancel.
*once per week at most if necessary, but less if updates are not required
